This is the second part to my day at Australia Zoo. I spent a full day here and almost went from open to close. Unfrgettable.

Lunch Time
All around Australia Zoo you'll come across keepers that bring the more manageable animals out onto the pathways. An engaging way to personalize conservation.

Eye on You
After perusing the selection of snakes at Australia Zoo; the unprepared Canadian in me was happy that I didn't come across any in the wild .

Tiger Time
The tigers were a big draw and I happened to walk by around the time the keepers were presenting. I didn't stay long because crowd freak me out, but I did find a quiet corner to spend some time with this calm kitten.

Loud Neighbour
While preening their feathers, this macaw was incredibly loud. The lemurs that surrounded him weren't bothered in the least.

Giraffe Snacks
Down the path from the macaw were the African selection of animals. I stopped by when the family was chowing down on some grub.

Jaw-some
The sun wasn't out and most of the large reptiles were insistent on sunning. Keep warm you deadly beauties. Loved the angles and enclosure in this photo.

Going to Get you
Having grown up watching Steve Irwin feed crocodiles, it was really interesting to see it live. Brave keepers indeed!
